I bought this with the intention to install it in an old MG I have. I know M46 transmissions are usually installed with turbo engines, but do not kn ow exactly which model Volvo this came from. The bell housing is designed so that the starter can be installed on the left or right. The link is mostly complete, but the rear of the remote is gone.
I thought everything looked good internally, but be your own judge. Same with the overdrive unit - tough to check, but generally robust.
